Our client is seeking various Software Engineers – Who must have hands on experience and knowledge of ‘UNIFACE’ programming. They have a number of clients who still use this system and will transiitioning from UNIFACE, however still use at the moment, they are seeking several Engineers/Developers to come on board work on this ongoing project, Time frame 2-3 years. Job spec below:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our client’s dynamic technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
mission-critical applications that power various banking, retail, manufacturing and
administrative operations and processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional
teams to understand business requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the reliability
and performance of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
● Designing, coding, testing, and debugging UNIFACE applications in accordance with
project requirements and coding standards.
● Enhancing and optimizing existing UNIFACE systems to improve efficiency, scalability,
and maintainability.
● Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather
requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
● Conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance and support to junior
developers.
● Troubleshooting and resolving issues in UNIFACE applications, ensuring minimal
disruption to business operations.
● Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis,
design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Key Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a UNIFACE Developer
● Expertise in UNIFACE programming language, including hands-on experience with
UNIFACE development tools and utilities..
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
with cross-functional teams.
● Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment.
