About the Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team supporting our client accounts. This role is a hybrid of team leadership, client development and account management. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile account manager who is passionate about client servicing and connecting with clients and colleagues from across the Globe.

You will be joining a team of account managers dedicated to providing an awesome service to our clients and you will be leading a team of embedded consultants delivering directly on client projects as part of an integrated marketing service. You will be responsible for the growth of our client campaigns and embedded teams. The post-holder will work from our new office in Holborn, with some hybrid homeworking.


Responsibilities include developing client relationships, tracking and analysing the performance of our embedded teams and supporting the Senior Marketing Account Managers and Executive Director with anything required to ensure that the accounts are successfully managed.

  • Support with onboarding new clients and allocate responsibilities to relevant teams across the agency.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Account Managers to build long term relationships with our clients.
  • Identify opportunities for growth across all client accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, as well as more formal account review meetings to ensure the health of the account and identify any additional needs Chesamel might be able to support clients with.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Account Managers with the rollout of new services to existing clients.
  • Collaborate, and lead where required, on project proposals, projects and business opportunities with new and prospective clients.
  • Oversee and directly manage a team of embedded marketing consultants, providing advice, guidance and mentorship, and ensuring that clear goals and OKRs are set for all project teams.
  • Ensure that your team is motivated and their morale is high with your positive outlook and engaging approach.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to deliver an exciting framework of engagement and development activities for the embedded team.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the current marketing campaigns being delivered by our teams.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Monitor account delivery and report on a weekly basis, as well as monthly status reports to the leadership team.


To be successful in this role, you should be hands-on, a problem solver and be obsessive about delivering an excellent service to our clients. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain strong client and team relationships.

  • Experience in account management within an agency, ideally within a tech and/or marketing environment.
  • A passion for line managing, leading and motivating others.
  • Excellent account management skills, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and manage any issues that arise.
  • Demonstrable experience in budget negotiation and meeting client requirements.
  • A track record of building internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and/or relevant software (e.g. Hubspot).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices for clients and teams
  • BSc/MSc degree in related field
