About the Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing agency team and lead the delivery and execution of projects across their accounts. This role is a hybrid of team leadership, client development and account management. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile account manager who has marketing agency experience, working with internal and external teams to execute and deliver marketing campaigns for our clients across the UK & Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture Relationships: Build and foster strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Onboarding and Support: Lead client onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration with agency teams and resources.
  • Regular Communication: Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients through informal check-ins and formal review meetings.
  • Identify Opportunities: Continuously seek and propose new service offerings or campaign enhancements to expand client accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • New Service Rollout: Collaborate with Senior Account Managers & Agency Lead to introduce and implement new services for existing clients.
  • New Business Development: Lead or support proposal development and pitch presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Campaign Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ongoing marketing campaigns and their performance across client accounts.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and cultivate relationships with key industry partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance service offerings and deliver optimal results.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor account delivery and performance, providing regular (weekly/monthly) reports to the leadership team on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Resourcing & Workforce Planning: Work with Agency Lead to resource project teams, collaborating with internal teams and our community of freelancers to resource projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee client project execution, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and communication to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, and address any issues that arise with the Agency Lead.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should be hands-on, a problem solver and be obsessive about delivering an excellent service to our clients. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain strong client and team relationships.

  • 3-4 years experience in account management within a marketing agency, ideally within the tech, B2B sphere.
  • Excellent account management skills, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and manage any issues that arise.
  • Demonstrable experience in project management
  • A track record of building internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Desirable: Local knowledge of Qatar & Arabic speaking
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and/or relevant software (e.g. Hubspot).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices for clients and teams
  • BSc/MSc degree in related field
