The Role:
As a Marketing Operations Project Manager, you will be supporting our regional and local marketing teams in EMEA, and would help them operationalize their plan and achieve their objectives. You will contribute to shape the team’s operational processes – helping the team to roll out campaigns while focusing on our highest priorities.
You will contribute to our operations excellence by managing and improving operational processes, including leading the team’s quarterly activity planning, managing the teams’ budget, and serving as the key POC for the team with finance. you will work closely with global teams (S&O, finance, legal, compliance) to ensure alignment and to streamline operational processes.
Ideal candidates will be a real number crusher with a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving. They should have strong quantitative skills, comfort tackling broad-reaching and ambiguous questions, and the ability to
communicate and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with YouTube and Google employees of all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Adapting and optimizing key global operational structures and processes to ensure the team works efficiently and nimbly as possible
- Managing and tracking team’s resources (including ad hoc requests)
- Partnering with Finance to manage marketing budget across multiple strategies and markets, to ensure agility in resource management as well as efficiency in spend.
- Creating and maintaining tools to improve access to data and decision making
- Create playbooks and training programs to improve the team’s professional level
- Representing the businesses Marketing EMEA in xFn and global operational forums
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/Bsc Degree
- Experience in Tech/Media industry
- Experience in Budgeting & Forecasting
- Excellent project management experience and multitasking skills, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy and operations.
- Creative problem-solving abilities
