This role leads the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies in Qatar, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making and content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and events, while collaborating closely with internal teams to drive business growth and brand awareness. They will also be adept at analyzing marketing performance, generating insightful reports, and staying ahead of the latest marketing trends in the Qatari market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. This includes defining key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities and establishing a robust measurement framework.
  • Create engaging and informative content for various channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, brochures, and press releases. This includes:
  • Developing a content calendar aligned with the overall marketing strategy and target audience needs.
  • Producing a variety of content formats, such as blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and interactive content.
  • Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility.
  • Manage social media presence, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging content. This includes:
  • Developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Monitoring social media channels for mentions and engaging with followers.
  • Using social media analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and execute marketing events and campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness. This includes both online and offline events, such as webinars, conferences, and product launches.
  • Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing reports and insights to management. This includes:
  • Collecting and analysing data from various sources, including website analytics, social media analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Creating dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Providing actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. This includes analysing customer behavior, market segmentation, and competitor activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices, particularly in the Qatari market. This includes attending industry events and staying informed about emerging technologies and digital marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and product development, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals. This includes providing sales teams with the necessary marketing materials and supporting product launches with effective marketing campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of campaigns. This includes tracking expenses, negotiating with vendors, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers in Qatar. This includes proactively seeking PR opportunities and managing media relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years proven experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role, ideally in Qatar or the GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of the Qatar market and strong network of contacts in Qatar would be beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
  • Experience in content creation, including writing, editing, and graphic design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM software is a plus.
