The opportunity

We have an exciting opening for a customer-focused marketer to lead key enthusiast propositions including sneakers and luxury. The role will enable you to think strategically about how we show up as a loved and trusted marketplace, with responsibility for developing customer-centric propositions with insight at the heart.

You will be the driver of cross-team collaboration, working closely with BU leads/programme owners to define what we should be saying to our customers and with the brand, comms and owned channel teams to bring propositions to life.


  • Lead a cross-functional team in the development of a customer centric plans
  • Own the strategic direction of each proposition, responsible for defining the vision and objectives
  • Work closely with BU leads/programme owners to understand business strategy, the inventory landscape and competitor insights
  • Translate research and data into insight, building a deep understanding of our enthusiast audiences
  • Champion customer led decision making, with customer motivations, barriers and behaviours as key drivers of the proposition
  • Define the target audience for each proposition, identifying who we should speak to and when
  • Translate complex propositions into clear and concise briefs for internal teams and input into agency briefs. Lead briefing sessions to engage and educate partners
  • Collaborate with brand, comms and owned channel teams as specialists in their areas to translate the proposition into a marketing plan that delivers against business goals
  • Manage expectations across the business and share updates in senior forums, bringing the right people into conversations at the right time
  • Partner with global and regional marketing teams to understand their workstreams, find opportunities and identify key takeaways
  • Monitor the retail market and competitors to see opportunities and risks
  • Measure and report against objectives with focus on driving continual improvement
  • Lead the post-campaign analysis process to ensure key takeaways are captured and built into future planning


  • Proven e-commerce marketing experience at manager level
  • Passionate about customers and a customer-first approach
  • Self-starter with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team, building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong communication skills, quickly able to gain trust and confidence with people at all levels
  • Proven record of delivery under pressure and an ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Results oriented with a consistent record in managing metrics with impact on business performance
  • Effective time management, balancing being creative and curious with the need to prioritise
  • Upbeat, flexible, and confident in leading through ambiguity
