Marketing Account Manager

Role:

This dynamic role bridges the gap between client relationship management and hands-on marketing execution. The successful candidate will provide essential support to both the Modern and Chesamel marketing teams. This involves overseeing client accounts, managing events, and ensuring seamless delivery of marketing campaigns. Additionally, the role entails crafting marketing assets, driving always-on marketing efforts (particularly ABM), and spearheading marketing deliverables for Chesamel and its Middle East expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned Modern clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Coordinate client projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of events and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on client account performance, identifying growth opportunities and addressing any challenges.
  • Manage client budgets and work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure campaign budgets are up to date.
  • Seek out and explore opportunities to grow client accounts and overall revenue of Modern/Chesamel

Marketing Delivery & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Chesamel marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing assets (e.g. email campaigns, social media content, presentations) that align with brand guidelines.
  • Manage always-on marketing initiatives, with a focus on account-based marketing (ABM).
  • Oversee the development of content deliverables for Chesamel internal/ external comms with a focus on podcast series and ABM.
  • Project manage marketing deliverables for Chesamel, including those related to Middle East expansion.
  • Oversee partnership opportunities and drive joint marketing efforts to drive brand awareness to targeted audiences.
  • Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Supporting the development of new business and revenue growth opportunities through collateral and asset creation with Modern & Chesamel Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you should be hands-on, a problem solver and be obsessive about delivering an excellent service to our clients. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
  • Experience in account management within an agency, ideally within a tech and/or marketing environment.
  • A passion for line managing, leading and motivating others.
  • Excellent account management skills, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and manage any issues that arise.
  • Demonstrable experience in budget negotiation and meeting client requirements.
  • A track record of building internal and external relationships with senio stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and/or relevant software (e.g. Hubspot).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices for clients and teams
  • BSc/MSc degree in related field
