Overview:

The Freelancer Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring freelance talent to support the company’s projects and initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the freelance market, strong talent identification skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with freelance professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify freelance talent across various platforms and networks
  • Screen freelance candidates based on skills, experience, and portfolio
  • Conduct initial interviews with potential freelance candidates
  • Negotiate rates and terms with freelance candidates
  • Onboard and manage freelance contractors throughout the duration of their projects
  • Track and monitor freelancer performance
  • Provide feedback and support to freelance contractors
  • Maintain a database of freelance talent for future projects
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in freelance recruiting

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a freelance environment
  • Strong understanding of the market and its dynamics
  • Excellent sourcing and screening skills
  • Ability to identify and assess freelance talent based on skills and experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in recruiting tools and technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Information:

  • This position is remote, with ad hoc working hours
