Overview:
The Freelancer Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring freelance talent to support the company’s projects and initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the freelance market, strong talent identification skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with freelance professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Source and identify freelance talent across various platforms and networks
- Screen freelance candidates based on skills, experience, and portfolio
- Conduct initial interviews with potential freelance candidates
- Negotiate rates and terms with freelance candidates
- Onboard and manage freelance contractors throughout the duration of their projects
- Track and monitor freelancer performance
- Provide feedback and support to freelance contractors
- Maintain a database of freelance talent for future projects
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in freelance recruiting
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a freelance environment
- Strong understanding of the market and its dynamics
- Excellent sourcing and screening skills
- Ability to identify and assess freelance talent based on skills and experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in recruiting tools and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
