The Team

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to work as part of an embedded marketing service working directly with our client’s global marketing team. Our client helps millions of organisations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business, all with technology built in the cloud. Their products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware.

You will work within the Developer Marketing team, driving awareness, demand and product adoption. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web channels, developing a deep understanding of the developer personas and using strong UX design and UX writing skills to optimise user journeys across all web channels intended for the Google Cloud technical practitioner audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create an integrated web strategy across all channels owned by developer marketing.
  • Build the marketing strategy for developer webpages to grow traffic, clicks, and enrollments in developer campaigns and programs.
  • Manage tech teams in order to deliver website changes.
  • Conduct UX research in order to develop a deep understanding of the cloud computing learning journey for developers and IT personas in order to construct effective campaigns.
  • Use strong UX design skills to organise the layout and structure of content in order to meet the needs of each persona and ensure that their journey is optimised.
  • UX writing to ensure that all copy on website is user-focused and creates a clear and consistent digital experience across web channels.
  • Partner closely with the Developer Product Marketing Managers to plan and execute launches of new programs and products on web channels..

Requirements:

  • BA in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing
  • Strong UX research, UX design and UX writing skills
  • Hands on experience with online marketing tools and practices
  • Solid knowledge of web and social media analytics and tools
  • Solid SEO understanding and capabilities
  • Familiarity with web design, HTML and Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills and project management skills
  • Experience with data and reporting on web channels performance
  • Outstanding copywriting skills and sense for good creative content
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple work-streams, functions and teams to deliver to demanding deadlines with a ‘get things done’ attitude
  • Self-starter who can manage and prioritise their own tasks
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles.
