Role Description

As Product Marketing Manager for Creators in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), you will help creators succeed on YouTube by leveraging the robust set of products and tools in the platform, which span everything from content creation tools to monetization to analytics. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that relevant launches focused on users (viewers) also incorporate EMEA needs and land well with creators in the region. You will get to work in an amazing global environment working closely with US based teams.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end marketing programs and campaigns related to a large set of features and tools available for YouTube creators, or related to specific categories and communities of creators.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaign elements based on user insights.
  • Create research-driven, measurable and high-impact programs that increase creators' awareness, adoption and satisfaction of key products inside YouTube, including: live streaming, Premieres, Analytics, Studio, and monetization (YouTube Partner Program, ads-based and alternative monetization).
  • Deliver integrated programs focused on growing the success of specific communities or verticals of creators, such as food, sports, fitness, education, fashion, underrepresented groups etc.
  • Work with creators to get the most out of YouTube and build their business on the platform.
  • Analyse EMEA creator insights from internal research data, identifying needs for product improvements and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Own the day-to-day collaboration with US-based teams for multiple global launches that impact EMEA creators each quarter.
  • Improving localization and transcreation (e.g. featuring regional examples and success stories), surfacing EMEA needs, proposing EMEA opportunities, and collaborating with in-country teams located in different markets.
  • Update the EMEA creator marketing team about the progress of these launches, as well as walk the team through the details of key efforts.
  • Keep on the cutting edge of an evolving cultural and product environment to share insights and opportunities with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Min 7 years of experience in product marketing with core responsibilities creating and executing successful consumer and brand marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment driving multiple projects at the same time.
  • Can-do, go-getter attitude. Focused and reliable.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to set goals and prioritize many initiatives and opportunities with minimal guidance. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English. Proven communicator who can build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Availability for recurring meetings and one-off discussions with teams located in California.

  • Demonstrated passion for consumer experiences, with ability to utilize research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing plans and improve the consumer experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyse datasets, identify trends and present key findings (both quantitative and analytical skills) and then apply to marketing programs.
  • Experience working directly with marketing platforms: paid digital media, email marketing, in-product messages and notifications.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and problem solving.
