Job Description

As a Marketing Specialist, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one world leading tech company’s products. You take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute innovative strategies and marketing campaigns that drive user engagement
  • Coordinate planning & execution of influencer marketing programs and other creative campaigns
  • Identify and build strong relationships with prominent influencers and YouTube creators in particular
  • Work closely with developers on identifying opportunities for collaboration  
  • In conjunction with agencies and other internal + external partners, produce compelling marketing collateral
  • Oversee event logistics incl. design, production, AV, and supplier management where applicable
  • Conduct data-driven analysis & insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience  
  • Project management experience  
  • 2 years of prof. marketing experience, ideally in the entertainment and/or consumer internet technology space
  • Experience in planning and executing influencer marketing strategies, ideally in a gaming-related context

 

Preferred qualifications  

  • Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically
  • Passion for and/or professional marketing experience in the gaming sector (bonus for mobile gaming)
  • Experience delivering high production quality, high profile B2C events  
  • Experience reviewing offline and online creative to optimise conversions and meet brand guidelines
  • Experience managing partners/agencies or third parties in commercial and operational activities
  • Experience working across multiple markets  
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills  
  • Strong creative and design judgement  
  • Excellent written communication skills  
  • Experience with design tools (Photoshop/Illustrator) is a plus
