I have been consulting for the World Bank's Operations Policy and Country Services (OPCS) unit, focusing on the implementation of the World Bank Procurement Reform, a critical change program transforming the institution’s operational procurement approach. I supported the development, coordination and implementation of the reform. This includes mapping business processes and workflows, conducting administrative operations, developing user guidance frameworks and materials, coordinating executive meetings, reporting and analysis, technical customer support, coordinating daily operations with wider project teams, preparing briefs and presentations, and coordinating knowledge management, sharing, and other training activities.
Prior to this, I have been an integral part of the delivery and change implementation team at Cadence Innova Management Consulting for five (5) years providing project management office, end user support, and IT project and portfolio management advice to the IT and digital departments of a range of public sector clients in the United Kingdom, including Public Health England and the Department for Education. In my work I consistently performed effectively and efficiently the whole range of functions associated with a project management role. These include, but are not limited to the following: overall senior management support to include Board meeting facilitation and follow up; drafting and circulating internal communications; leading and supporting strategic review of key documents and reports; data collection, analysis, and simplification into management style reporting; drafting management and reform recommendations based on end to end data analysis; assisting in the drafting and editing of final report outputs; lead project and portfolio governance activities to include project plans, milestones, financial reporting, and document requisition; lead and monitor the RAIDD (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions) log for each project; and manage the research work status catalogue; provide scheduled reporting of customer facing risks and issue logs, and prioritize or escalate as required; and act as a technical liaison between the technology department and the business customers.
My professional experience is underpinned by a degree from King’s College London, a PRINCE2 Practitioner project management certification and advanced knowledge of analytical and statistical tools such as MS Office applications. Moreover, I bring the following skills and technical abilities to the table: i) experience and in-depth knowledge of Agile Software development and in-depth practical understanding of Software Development life cycles and practical use of the Waterfall and Agile methodology of implementation; ii) strong analytical skills to include performing impact analysis documentation preparation and root cause analysis with project teams; iii) strong experience facilitating and coordinating daily operations in a multi-cultural team; iv) solid end user training experience to include the delivery of training to staff and the development of training materials, guidance notes, FAQ materials, and other user-facing content; v) solid knowledge of technologies and software, such as web-based applications, SharePoint, mobile devices, and business intelligence reporting & dashboards; and vi) excellent team coordination and management skills.
